Guidance

There are some guidance that inspires a lot especially from what I've been facing throughout my whole life.

"There is not a single person who is free of problems or worries. Nor are there any trouble-free families or communities. What matters is what action we can take to resolve such problems and worries. The important things is exercise one's wisdom to the fullest and make persistent efforts, while aiming towards the victory that lies beyond one's present problems."

"Daily we change, daily we grow. This is the human revolution. This is the life of the person of true faith. It is no good to be always succumbing to inertia. Rather, start by creating waves from within your heart."

"No effort based on faith is wasted or in vain. The state of our heart, the causes we make in our inner realm, determine precisely just what effects we shall receive. This is owing to the inscrutable mystic function of our life."

"Other people will go their own wat, and you will go yours. It is important to realist your mission which you have decided upon and live up to your convictions. You will become a victor in the end."

"Not advancing does not mean standing still. It is actually equivalent to moving backwards. In faith, there is no sense of this is good enough. The arrogance think this leads to laziness, and eventually to the cessation of one's practice."

"A life spent day-dreaming about If only I didn't have this problem.... is a life of failure. In contrast, one who continually makes constructive efforts, approaching things from the standpoint of What can I do to overcome these circumstances and turn them into source of value and victory? is a winner."

"Age is irrelevant to faith. The person with faith is always youthful, always improving, better tomorrow than today, and better still the day after. That is the purpose of your training and self-discipline. For it is in your struggle with yourself that you improve yourself and find happiness."

"Life is bright and cheerful if you always try to see things in a positive direction. To always be moping around with a gloomy expression on one's face or with a face set in lines of discontentment, or to do things without enthusiasm, is a joyless and tedious way of life."

Each day I refer to the guidance by Daisaku Ikeda which really inspires me to move on forward wholeheartedly with a smile on my face in my life. Facing through every obstacles without complaints. I've come so far in this journey of my life and I'll keep striving forward no matter what happens.
